Every body is different. Every pick should be too.

Filtered by whether it will actually work for you.

Most shopping is filtered by category and size. Matchbook filters by things you already understand about yourself — then scores every piece against them, and works out what size you’d actually take in it.

01

Wardrobe preferences

The styles you actually reach for — feminine, masculine, or a mix.

02

Fit needs

Plain-language frustrations like “tops pull across my chest” become real filters — not just a size dropdown.

03

The size you usually wear

Tell us your usual size and we’ll use it as a starting point, labelled as the estimate it is.

04

Your measurements, if you want

Optional — and the biggest difference you can make. We read the brand’s own chart, name the size that fits you there, and tell you when a piece runs small against the size you usually buy.

05

Style goals

Polished, relaxed, bold, romantic — how you want to feel in your clothes.

06

Budget

A usual range, plus the option to set a different budget for today.

07

Shopping intent

What you’re shopping for right now: work, a date, a vacation, an event.

Fit, retailer by retailer

A 10 here is not a 10 there.

Every store writes its own size chart, and no two agree. Across the retailers we can size today, Matchbook holds those charts and measures them against you — so when a retailer’s numbers disagree with the size you usually take, you hear it from us before you buy, not from the mirror afterwards. We’re adding more stores as we get their charts right.

Chart by chart

One retailer’s medium is another’s large. We read each size guide as that store wrote it. Where a piece has no chart of its own we use that brand’s guide and tell you that’s what we did.

Discrepancies, flagged

Where a piece runs tight across the bust, loose through the hips, or snug at the shoulders and upper arms, the card says so — and tells you the size it thinks is closest.

Measured against you

Not against a fit model or a national average. Your numbers, your proportions, every time — because no two bodies are built the same.

Style Scan

Let your photos do the talking.

Upload a few photos and Style Scan reads your coloring and proportions to estimate your best colors and the silhouettes that flatter you. It’s about style, not size — Style Scan never guesses your measurements, and your photos are never stored.
